The Barrett Foundation

The Barrett House Emergency Shelter offers emergency shelter to adult individuals who identify as female and their children who are experiencing homelessness. Residents may participate in the shelter program for up to 6 months.

All Faith’s Children’s Advocacy Center

A Children’s Advocacy Center is a child-friendly facility in which law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical, and victim advocacy professionals work together to investigate abuse, help children heal from abuse, and hold offenders accountable.

Good Shepherd Center

The Good Shepherd Center Housing Voucher Program offers assistance to individuals who are experiencing homelessness or in need of stable housing. Programs available are PSH – Permanent Supportive Housing and RRH – Rapid Rehousing.

Applications are accepted on Mondays 9:30 – 11:30am on a first come, first serve basis. No more than 5 applications will be accepted per day. You must apply in person at:

Heading Home

Heading Home at the Albuquerque Opportunity Center is a men’s shelter that offers support services, housing, and more to families and individuals experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque.

To start the process to reserve a bed at the Albuquerque Opportunity Center, individuals must call the intake line at (505) 344-4340 (9:00am – 3:00pm, 1:00am-3:00am daily). If there is no answer, that means the beds are full. Try back the following day.

HopeWorks is one of the largest homeless service providers in New Mexico, providing access to day shelter, housing, and mental / behavioral health services.

Joy Junction

Joy Junction is a non-profit, faith-based church ministry that offers emergency and short-term essentials such as food, clothing, counseling, transportation, and shelter to homeless men, women, and children, and families throughout Albuquerque.

New Day Youth and Family Services

New Day offers services and support that align with young people’s diverse experiences and needs. The Safe Home / Emergency Shelter provides a safe place to live for youth ages 11 – 17. New Day’s transitional housing offers various types of subsidized housing and thoughtful, balanced support for youth ages 17 – 24.
