Development Team

Michelle Den Bleyker, Director of Development, has 19+ years of experience in the affordable housing arena, in both development and lending. Prior to YES Housing, Michelle played a vital role at the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) where she worked, most recently, as the Housing Tax Credit Program Manager.

Michelle is currently responsible for application analysis through project completion which includes project planning, community outreach, predevelopment, securing funding from both public and private sources, finance and construction management.

Elaine Wynne, Development Associate, has 18+ years of experience in banking/lending.  Processes, underwrites, and structures financing for affordable occupied and rental development projects.  Also, performs credit analysis, orders and reviews third party reports, due diligence data collection and analysis.  Elaine also prepares loan applications, arranges for loan closings and reviews construction draws. 

Prior to YES Housing, Elaine worked at the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (state agency for affordable housing) for six years.  Helped with various stages of application, approval, or closing using the following programs: HOME, Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Bond Financing, Primero (pre-development), Housing Trust Fund, 542(c), Land Title Trust Fund, and Rural Housing Economic Development (RHED).

Angelo Baca, Development Associate, is a recent graduate of the Anderson Schools of Management at UNM, and he assists in all aspects of the development process including preparing funding applications, researching potential properties and land sites, and working with the development team in overseeing the progress of projects.
